Within the framework of the AFIAP, "the Acoustic Emission Group" has prepared the first reference document relating to AE testing which describes the methodology from the definition of the application procedures to the interpretation of the results, entitled :
"Guide to good practice for AE testing of Pressure Equipment"
The guide incorporates the requirements from the available standards and the experience of this test practice acquired by skilled workers.
